Hey, I bought this Canon sx20is, pretty cool, not quite dslr quality, but still pretty cool. Here's a couple of pics that show the zoom range, which is pretty amazing. images have been downsampled fom the ridiculuosly high resolutions avaliable on the Canon sx20is, and only miminally touched up in Photoshop (I love shadow/highlight)

The street I live on has been perpetually under contruction, but they finally did the sidewalk. Look at the first picture and take note of way up the sidewalk before looking at the next picture. Both were taken from the same spot, hand held. First picture is at full wide angle, second picture is at the 560mm (equivalent) full optical zoom....
